List of Included Tests - 3 Tests
A stool analysis is a series of tests done on a stool (feces) sample to help diagnose certain conditions affecting the digestive tract. These conditions may include infections (such as from parasites ) and maldigstion.
Preparation
- Fasting from 4 to 6 hours prior is required
- For two weeks, refrain from taking antibiotics and abdominal medications
- Not recommended for pregnant women and children under the age of 14 years old
